About Haynes Hanson & Clark

Haynes Hanson & Clark, founded in 1978, is a thriving, independent wine merchant founded in 1978 by Denis Haynes, Anthony Hanson MW and Nicholas Clark.

We pride ourselves in sourcing our wine directly from the growers. This ensures superb and exciting bottles, often made in tiny quantities, at the most competitive prices.

Although known for our superb range of Burgundy, Bordeaux and Loire Valley wines, our list includes top examples from around the world.

Our extensive range of Burgundy domaines includes Mugnier, Dugat-Py, Roumier, Blain-Gagnard, Chandon de Briailles, Christian Moreau and many more. From Italy, we ship directly from Fattoria La Massa in Tuscany and Cavallotto in Piedmont. From Manchuela in Spain, we import the fabulous Finca Sandoval, grown high on the Castilian plain. Further afield, we are the UK importer for Sam Neill's excellent Two Paddocks estate in Central Otago, and list wines from the Mitchell estate in Australia's Clare Valley.

We are proud to sponsor the annual Haynes Hanson & Clark Stakes held at Newbury Racecourse every September. This is the longest continuous flat race sponsorship in Newbury’s history, with recent past winners including Centennial, Winged Cupid and Nayef.
