SPECIAL CONDITIONS WHEN BUYING IN BOND

Prices are quoted per case 12 x 75cl bottles, unless stated otherwise. All wines purchased in Bond will incur excise duty and VAT charges (at the prevailing rate) when released from Bonded Warehouse. Any wines not delivered by our own vehicles will be subject to a carriage charge.

CARRIAGE CHARGES

Orders of a full case of wine, or more, within our usual delivery areas are free of charge.

Orders exceeding the value of £650, to a single delivery address on the UK mainland, are free of charge, except for parts of Scotland as shown below. Deliveries to Northern Ireland and all offshore islands will be quoted for individually. Orders of less than a case of wine, being delivered by our own vehicles will be charged at £8 per drop.

SCOTLAND

Orders exceeding £650 may also be charged carriage, subject to the number of cases, to a maximum limit of £45 per delivery.

TERMS & CONDITIONS OF SALE

All prices are inclusive of VAT, with the exception of in bond wines. Quotations are for cash, or for cash within 30 days from date of invoice to established credit customers, subject to availability of stock. Orders are accepted subject to prices ruling at the time.

TITLE

All risk in the goods purchased passes to the buyer upon delivery, the title to the goods shall only pass upon receipt of payment in full. In the event of non-payment on these terms, Haynes Hanson & Clark reserves the right to enter any premises and recover possession of the goods.

CLAIMS

Customers are requested to examine all goods at the time of delivery. One copy of the delivery note should be signed and handed to the driver (any deficiency being noted), and one copy retained. Claims for breakage or shortage must be made by telephone to ourselves within two days of delivery. Please then confirm the claim in writing to us. Non-delivery must be notified in writing within three days of advised date of despatch. Claims for breakage, shortage or non-delivery cannot be considered unless these conditions are observed.
