2017 Château Le Coteau, Margaux

This stylish Margaux offers character, charm and, importantly, good value. Predominantly Cabernet Sauvignon (65%), the blend is completed with Merlot (25%) and Cabernet Franc (8%), with 2% Petit-Verdot. This 2017 is finely perfumed, aromas being elegant and floral, with notes of cassis and cedar wood. The palate is mid weight, fine-boned and has beautiful, intense, silkly-textured fruitiness. This is a wine built on finesse rather than power, finishing long and fresh (for drinking now – 2026+).
