Boudier`s Corton-Charlemagne comes from the `Le Corton` section of the vineyard, which lies at the top of the hill, facing due east, in the commune of Aloxe-Corton. In 2018 Jean-Baptiste made just one 300 litre barrel of this wine. Pale lemon gold in colour, aromas are tight, being complexly floral and citrusy. This is full bodied, silkily texture and tightly woven on the palate, having notable mineral stoniness. Its intensely concentrated, powerful fruit are held finely in place by precise structure, the finish bieng harmonious, long and having beautiful, refreshing finesse (for drinking 2022-2026+).
