2019 Château de Beaucastel, Châteauneuf-du-Pape Rouge

Beaucastel`s Châteauneuf-du-Pape is exceptional in 2019. An intricate blend of all 13 permitted grape varieties, this is at once richly powerful and silkily elegant. Colour is deep ruby-purple, aromas being tightly woven and perfumed, recalling red and black fruits with notes of liquorice and black olive. Palate is full bodied and intense, with gorgeously velvety textures. This is a finely woven wine that possesses purity, depth, delicacy and finesse. The tannins are ripely refreshing, the finish building magnificently (for drinking 2022-2030+).
