Description
La Lagune is one of the Haut-Médoc’s leading Classed Growths. Since 2000, it has been in the hands of the talented Jean-Jacques Frey, with his daughter, Caroline – who graduated top of her class at Bordeaux University in 2002 – running the winery. She has made a beautiful 2020 wine, which exudes perfumed aromas of cassis, red berries and delicate spice – very pure and elegant. Palate is an intense ball of rich, juicy flavours and silky textures, within a fine frame of ripe tannins and bright acidity. This will become a wonderful glass of fine claret (for drinking 2028–2045+).
