This vineyard lies just south of Au Closeau, and also neighbours Grand Cru Mazis-Chambertin, which is just across the Route des Grands Crus. It is always one of the most delicate and elegant of the village’s First Growths. Colour is medium deep, aromas clean, ripe and fresh. Palate has full structure, with intensely mineral drive, finishing with well-rounded, rich, smooth tannins, very harmonious (for drinking 2024-2032+).
