The grapes for this cuvée came from several vineyards which encircle Pernand: Les Bouttiéres, Les Noirets, Belles Filles and Les Pins. Native yeasts got fermentation under way, on grapes which had been 100% de-stemmed. Ageing took place in oak barrels, of which 15% were new. Colour is red-purple, aromas very pure and fresh. Palate shows full fruit, with attractive roundness, gently chewy tannins, and fresh length (for drinking 2023-2026+).
