2021 Chassagne-Montrachet Rouge, Domaine Blain-Gagnard

This cuvée is assembled from five different plots across the commune, resulting in a wine of rich, fresh fruitiness – very pure Pinot – and fine balance. It was falling bright in its barrels naturally, so there was no need for fining or filtration prior to bottling. Fruitiness is agreeably soft, finish is easy, gentle and refreshing (for drinking 2024-2026+).
