2021 Château Roquefort, Bordeaux Blanc

This Sauvignon Blanc / Semillon blend (85%/15%) is made by the Bellanger family from plots that lie in the heart of the Entre-Deux-Mers. Currently under organic conversion, we are delighted to have redisovered this property, whose wines we shipped and enjoyed a decade ago. Pale gold colour, aromas are lemony, with attractive hints of grapefruit. This is dry, light and clean on the palate, being a characterful, precise example of unoaked white Bordeaux. It finishes silkily and with good, crisp length.
