Description

This wine shows deeper, purple-ruby colour and extra exuberance on the nose, compared with the other Masse 2021s in our range. The vines average 35 years of age, and have given a wine of rich structure, dense fruitiness and splendid length. Well-rounded tannins will benefit from a year or more in bottle (for drinking 2024-2028+).

This family domaine is based in a small village over the hill from Givry. They make fine, great-value wines both white and red, from the family domaine and – as Famille Masse - from carefully-sourced, bought-in grapes and juice. Fabrice Masse has help and support from his experienced uncle Roland Masse, who was, for many years, wine-maker at the Hospices de Beaune.
