2021 Mâcon-Fuissé Les Bruyères, Domaine Dominique Cornin

Les Bruyères is a north-facing slope of blue schist that gives fine-boned, intensely fresh Chardonnay. In 2021, colour is a very pale lemon-gold, aromas being gorgeously pure and floral, recallng ripe peaches. Tightly wound on the palate, this is a graceful, scented, light-of-step Mâcon, having a beautifully creamy texture and a fresh, harmonious aftertaste (for drinking 2023–2025+).
