Description

The Dampts started planting their Petit Chablis plot 20 years ago. “It is near our block of Village Chablis vines” explains Vincent Dampt, “on the plateau in Fyé. There is a lot of limestone, and we needed a crusher to break the rocks, to enable the vines to be planted.” This 2023 is pale lemon-gold, with attractively clean, lemon and oyster shell aromas. The light bodied palate shows subtle, dancing fruit and fine texture, finishing racy and bone dry.
