Our direct link with Charles Heidsieck in Reims has allowed us to retain our competitive price, and ensured that we have ample stock of magnums. Wines from no fewer than 60 different crus go into this assemblage, one third each coming from Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier. 40% of the blend comes from aged reserve wine (much higher than seen elsewhere). These factors, along with the long, six year maturation in bottle, explains the intense flavour complexity, sensuous texture and superbly fresh length of this Non-Vintage champagne. With apricot, toasted hazelnut and honey aromas, this is expressive, precise, and palate-cleansing.
