These vines, planted in 1963, are more than 55 years old, and have again given a wine of impressive structure, fruit concentration and power. Production is always tiny, and this fermented 100% in oak barrels, none of which were new. Colour is green-gold, aromas open, ripe and fresh. Palate is tense with fruitiness, medium-bodied, creamily textured, flavoursome and magnificently long (for drinking 2022-2030+).
