This is the smallest cuvée which Charles Magnien makes from the Côte Saint Jacques, and gave just 4.5 barrels in 2019, of which under half were new. The vineyard lies downhill from Estournelles-St-Jacques, in the heart of these famous slopes. 25% whole bunches went into the fermentation. They have given a wine of medium deep, ruby-purple colour, with freshly complex aromas. Beguiling fruit intensity combines with medium body and gentle tannins to give a wine which shows exceptional delicacy, finesse and length (for drinking 2024-2035+).
