Opaque ruby-purple colour, aromas are ebullient, recalling cassis and violets, with underlying floral smokiness. This is a broad, velvety, energetic wine. Powerfully structured, the fruit is rich and ripe, with harmonious, lifting acidity and fine tannins. Long-flavoured on the finish, this has a great future (for drinking 2023-2030+).
