Chiens Chiens is from a vineyard of the same name, with cool, clay soils. 100% Cabernet Franc, it aged for 14 months in 500 litre oak barrels (10% new), which has enhanced the wine’s beautiful, cassis and floral violet scent. Deep ruby-purple colour, aromas are multi-layered and fragrant. This is a full, fleshy mouthful, with supple tannins, the finish being lifted and satisfying.
