This 5-hectare property rubs shoulders with several top Saint-Julien Classed Growths, including Léoville Barton and Ducru-Beaucaillou. It is part of the Guy Delon family estate, being planted 65% with Cabernet Sauvignon and 35% with Merlot. Ably run by Guy’s children, Jean-François and Guylène, this 2016 wine is totally seductive. Full and incredibly silky in the mouth, earthy spiciness is just starting to emerge, interweaving with the wine’s naturally fragrant, tightly concentrated, ripe blackcurrant fruitiness. The finish is elegant, fresh and long (for drinking now-2030+).
