Well known by lovers of Bordeaux, Château Laujac has long been under the expert ownership of the Cruse family. The vineyards sit on deep gravel banks which run down to meadows where cattle and horses graze. This 2014 has fine aromas that are smoky and freshly perfumed, being floral and rich. The dominance of Cabernet Sauvignon (60%) brings an energy and persistence to the wine, combined with superb purity of fruit. There is good structure and ample flesh, with a precise and long flavoured finish.
