This is one of Pomerol’s smallest properties (just over 4 hectares in production), regularly giving one of its most complex, fleshy and thrillingly succulent wines. The 2020 comes from vines averaging 40 years of age, and was assembled from 75% Merlot, with 25% Cabernet Francs. It is ageing in 50% new French oak barrels. Colour is deep-purple with magenta tints, aromas pungent, lively and appetizing. Palate is rich and fleshy, with characteristic, dense fruitiness, broad structure and mouth-coatingly soft, velvety tannins (for drinking 2025-2038+).
