This comes from a broad swathe of 1st Growth vineyard in mid-slope, which runs up to the commune boundary with Pommard. It consistently makes one of Beaune’s most structured, long-lived wines. Colour is deep, ruby-purple, the nose being perfumed and fine. This wine will be easy to enjoy, thanks to its round, soft fruitiness, generous body and fresh, long-lingering, gentle aftertaste (for drinking 2021-2028+).
