This vineyard lies south of Au Closeau, and also neighbours Grand Cru Mazis-Chambertin, which is just across the Route des Grands Crus. It is always one of the most delicate and elegant of the village’s 1st Growths. In colour, medium deep ruby-purple, with richly smoky aromas. Palate shows intense, bright fruitiness, medium body, elegant, silky texture and fine harmony on the finish (for drinking 2022-2032+).
