This came 100% from vines in the centre of the village, from a site called En Coton, with one fifth of the barrels for ageing being new. In colour, this is deeper ruby-purple than the Bourgogne, with admirable freshness on the nose. Palate is plump and full-bodied, with tannins still softening. This is a great-value Côte de Nuits red, which will hit the spot, with bottle age (for drinking 2024-2028+)
