This is the smallest cuvée which Charles Magnien makes from the Côte Saint Jacques, from old vines which average 70 years of age. The vineyard lies downhill from Estournelles-St-Jacques, in the heart of these famous slopes. 30% whole bunches went into the fermentation. They have given a wine of medium-pale, garnet-purple colour, with fine, refreshing aromas. Supple, charming fruitiness characterises the palate, with gentle, balanced length, all in gracious harmony (for drinking 2024-2035+).
