Latricières-Chambertin lies directly south of Le Chambertin, producing one of the longest-living wines in all Burgundy. It is a racy wine, in the same style as the Lavaut Saint Jacques, but with another dimension of structure and fruit depth. Bunches were fully de-stemmed. Colour is impressive, deep purple, aromas are discreet but promise well. Palate is full and fleshy, showing more body than we often find in Latricières, with creamy, admirably long aftertaste (for drinking 2025-2040+).
