This is the 7th vintage that this wine has benefitted from the up-graded Faiveley winery located in Mercurey, where they have important vineyard-holdings. The wine now ferments in smaller vats, allowing individual focus and more precise temperature control. This is red-purple of medium depth, with very clean, open aromas. Palate shows broader structure and denser fruit than has often been the case, in past vintages. A superb value wine for youthful enjoyment and also mid-term ageing (for drinking 2023-2028+).
