These grapes can be hard to ripen, as the vines grow in a little dip in the hillside, which does not see the sun all day. Only two barrels could be made in 2020, but they show superb quality, as the hot dry summer was just what was needed, to ensure good ripening. Colour is garnet-purple of medium depth, with aromas which are particularly elegant and spicy. Palate is clearly delineated, with fruit density, freshness and fine tannins merging well (for drinking 2025-2032+).
