This comes from a 4-hectare plot (altitude 382 metres), the Montagne de Cras, made up of 3 hectares of vines, and one hectare with great bio-diversity: scree slopes, hedges, orchards, limestone grasslands with numerous orchids and rare trees – a haven for insects and birds. The wine was made and aged in 15% new barrels, with 35% of 1-year barrels, and older – all being assembled prior to bottling. It is bright, lemon-gold, with strikingly ripe aromas. Palate is full, fruitiness is intense, finish is lively yet soft and balanced (for drinking 2022-2025+).
