These vines were planted over 60 years ago, in 1955, yet are still – in part thanks to bio-dynamic cultivation, no doubt – full of youthful vigour. Just one large barrel was made, which had previously held one harvest – so availabilities are tiny. In colour, this is bright, rich, green-golden, with aromas which are floral and charming. Palate is broadly built, with silky texture, mouth-coating fruit intensity, acidity in perfect balance and spectacular length (for drinking 2023-2030+).
