This vineyard lies centre-slope along Meursault’s most famous swathe of hillsides, which produce First Growths when they are east-facing, then give more modestly-priced wines, when the slope turns northerly. Sadly, the ageing vines had to be pulled up, after this vintage, so these bottles are a swan-song. Colour is medium-golden, aromas rich and sumptuous, palate round, creamy, soft and fresh (for drinking 2022-2025+).
