Named for Claudie’s great-grandmother (whose real name was Emilie-Anne) this comes 100% from 60 year-old vines growing in the commune of Pommard. They lie not far from the plane tree-lined RN 74 (where Pommard’s best Bourgognes are made), opposite the château. Only 10 barrels were made in 2015 (of which 1 was a new barrel). This is bright, red-purple, with open, fine fruitiness on the nose. It has lovely, rich fruit, with character and gentle length. If you love Pinot Noir, you will relish this wine (for drinking 2017-2023+).
