The grapes from First Growth Les Lavières have been assembled with others from the family’s substantial Savigny vineyard holdings, to make this single cuvée from old vines this year (as frost played havoc with many plots). Colour is medium-deep, purple-ruby, with aromas being richly fruity and open, recalling roasted red cherries. This has body, freshness and splendid fruit concentration. The finish is vibrant and fine (for drinking 2019-2026+).
