There are two sectors in this vineyard, one planted 55 years, one 18 years ago. A high limestone content in the soil gives this red Auxey vitality and delicate perfume. The grapes were in excellent health, so 10-12% of whole bunches, without de-stemming, were included in the fermentation, to bring supple texture and complex aromas. Mid ruby-purple, the nose is open, ripe and abundantly fresh. Palate shows excellent fruit concentration, good body and ripe tannins (for drinking 2020-2026+).
