These grapes came from the same plots as last year, from the hamlet of Poncey, in the southern part of Givry’s appellation. Colour is bright, red-purple, aromas recall blackberries, very fresh. This has well-balanced structure with lovely fruit, refreshing aftertaste. This is a remarkable wine at such a reasonable price level – it has character, depth a plenty – and will be a superb bottle (for drinking 2019-2022+).
