The second wine of second growth Château Pichon Longueville Baron, and named after the turrets that embellish the château, here is a wine of ample class and finesse. The 2014 is a beauty, being a blend of 65% Merlot with 20% Cabernet Sauvignon, 10% Cabernet Franc and 5% Petit Verdot. Aromas are perfumed and charming, recalling spiced red and black currants, with hints of cedar. The palate is finely textured, with sweet, robust fruit and velvety tannins. The finish is long and aromatic, for drinking now to 2025+.
