We dropped out of following this château last year, but in 2018 it is back, as one of the most superb classed growths of the region, showing magnificent potential. 60% Cabernet Sauvignon with 32% Merlot and 8% Petit Petit Verdot constitute the blend, now aging in 40% new barrels. Colour is deep, aromas recalling ripe black fruits and cedar-wood. Palate is powerful, with densely rounded fruitiness, well integrated freshness and fine tannins. For mid- and long-term ageing, superb harmony (for drinking 2024-2040+).
