This Grand Cru is in lieu of the (frosted) Echézeaux which we have previously selected here, and is a superb example of the vintage. The colour is ruby-purple of medium depth, the nose shows strikingly fine aromas, holding great promise. The palate is plump and mouth-coating, with beautiful, creamy texture, elegant tannins, and ravishing length (for drinking 2020-2032+).
