This wine results from assembling, in equal proportions, grapes from two First Growths: Morgeot and Clos Saint Jean. Colour is a strikingly rich purple-ruby, the nose being clean and open, recalling cherries. The palate is medium structured, combining the elegance one expects from Clos Saint Jean with the densely fruity, more powerful character of Morgeot. Tannins are well-balanced; length is impressive (for drinking 2020-2028+).
