This is a fully south-facing 1st Growth, lying uphill from the well-known Les Arvelets. In colour, not very deep, but with Pinot Noir’s vividly attractive purple-ruby hue. Red fruits and spice show on the nose, with palate being intensely fruity, building to a powerful finish with excellent length. Presently reserved, for mid-term ageing (and drinking 2022-2030+).
