This old vine Savigny is absolutely stunning in 2017. Aromas are text book Pinot Noir from Savigny: pure, ripe black fruits, with attractive, violet fragance – enormously attractive. The palate is equally delicious, being medium bodied, with splendid, plump fruitiness, fine, supple tannins and excellent, vibrant length. Here is a ready-to-drink, thirst-quenching red Burgundy at a great price (for drinking 2020-2026).
