Our first ever listing of this wine, of which just 3 barrels were made (of which one is new). It takes plenty of sunshine, as in 2018, to bring grapes from this vineyard to perfect ripeness, as the vines lie high up on Beaune’s 1st Growth slope. Colour is impressive, deep purple, nose shows ample ripe fruitiness. Palate is full-bodied and dense, showing great potential for ageing, with fine intensity and serious length of flavour (for drinking 2022-2032+).
