“These grapes come solely from the Côte de Nuits, from land under the Chambolle-Musigny and Morey-Saint-Denis vineyards, with some Gevrey-Chambertin grapes,” says Caroline. 30% whole bunches were added to the fermenting vat. This is medium-deep, ruby-purple, with fine, appealing perfume. Palate shows fresh, dense fruitiness, with chewy tannins needing a year or so in bottle to soften (for drinking 2021-2023+).
