More than 80% of this exceptional, village-level Chambolle-Musigny comes from the Premier Cru Les Baudes, which lies just across the road from Grand Cru Bonnes-Mares. The balance is from a vineyard called Les Véroilles, uphill of Bonnes-Mares, which is not a First Growth, but is superbly placed, producing perfumed, elegant wine. This was 100% de-stemmed, allowing the pure fruit finesse and aromatic complexity of the village to shine clearly. Colour is deep and rich, with aromas fresh as daffodils. Palate is silkily textured, with sumptuous fruit, light tannins and lovely length (for drinking 2023-2029+).
