This is not a First Growth, but represents Santenay’s appealing fruitiness, at a reasonable price, with engaging stylishness. It is a success almost every vintage, and time has shown it ages well. Colour is rich and deep, aromas recall raspberries, very fresh. Palate is full and fleshy, round and balanced, with everything in harmony (for drinking 2022-2026+).
