Givry on the Côte Chalonnaise was not affected by April frosts, so yields here were normal. The grapes for this wine came from the hamlet of Poncey, in the southern part of the appellation. In colour, this is rich, purple-ruby with very clean, fresh Pinot aromas. Palate shows impressive fruit intensity and fine capacity for ageing, thanks to its balanced structure, acidity and tannins. This is an harmonious, fine wine for early and mid-term enjoyment (for drinking 2018-2022+).
