Latricières-Chambertin lies directly south of Le Chambertin, and produces one of the longestliving wines in all Burgundy. This 2016 was vinified with 40% whole bunches, and is one of the best Latricières-Chambertin we have ever seen in this cellar. Colour is medium deep, aromas are concentrated and superb. The palate starts round and luscious, and this is well-sustained in mid-taste, and all the way to the end. It is a beautiful, fully complete wine, with seductive texture and a great future (for drinking 2023-2040+).
