Just two barrels of this wine exist in 2016, one of which being new. These old vines are more than 60 years of age. They are located in a tiny plot called Au Bas de Combe: the last vineyard of the Nuits appellation before arriving at Vosne-Romanée’s Premier Cru Les Combes. Rich, purple-red in colour, this shows fine, open aromas. Palate is full-bodied and fresh, with very pretty fruit and fine length (for drinking 2020-2028+).
Prices for these wines will be available in mid/late January 2018 – with volumes down across this Domaine, please let us know where your interests lie as soon as you can, so we may let you know availabilities and details, as soon as we have them.
