This is one of Pommard’s lesser-known First Growths, but is south-facing and well-situated, above Les Arvelets. Colour is rich, red-purple of medium depth, aromas are complex, clean and fine. Palate starts full-bodied, with rich middle, well-rounded tannins and impressive, supple length (for drinking 2021-2030+).
