Savigny was one of the most severely affected by the April frosts, and a normal production of 25 barrels, from several named sites, was reduced to 3 barrels, with all sites having been vinified together. The result is stunningly charming, and very concentrated. Colour is vibrant, purple-ruby, aromas are ripe, fresh and open – incredibly positive impressions fully live up to expectations on the palate. A full-bodied start leads into ample fruitiness, balanced, gentle tannins and a vibrant finish (for drinking 2018-2024+).
